About Us

Swayambhu Manjushree Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. is a transportation company that provides services for travel between Nepal and India. This transportation company operates under the Nepal-India Friendship Bus Service. It is a highly reliable transportation company that has obtained permission from the governments of Nepal and India.
Established with the aim of promoting social welfare through transportation services, it was registered in the Kathmandu District Administration Office in the year 2058 B.S. The organization has expanded its scope of work and started operating transportation services along with social services. In 2061 B.S., the organization rebranded itself and began operating under the name Swayambhu Manjushree Yatayat.

Despite the ongoing internal conflicts in the country for a long time, the organization has consistently provided its services and supported the national movement of 2062/2063, maintaining its consistency. During that time, the organization halted its operational services and actively participated in the movement, involving entrepreneurs, employees, workers, and their families, and contributed to its success.

Continuation of Services:
After this significant period, the organization resumed its services and has maintained the consistency of its operations. In line with the proposal passed during the SAARC Summit held in Kathmandu in 2014, Swoyambhu Manjushree Yatayat was entrusted with operating the Nepal-India Friendship Bus Service. Since then, the organization has been responsible for operating this service, and approximately one year before that time, the organization started operating personal buses within 6 months, including air-conditioned (A.C.) buses, which were subsequently transformed into a company by gathering unanimous consent.

Affiliation and Expansion:
Since 2014, Swoyambhu Manjushree Yatayat, along with all A.C. buses, has been affiliated with the Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs National Federation. In 2016, the organization advanced by acquiring the chassis of the new model TATA 1618 buses and received the endorsement and guidance of the Government of Nepal. As a result, the organization was re-established as Swoyambhu Manjushree Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. Currently, it operates regular transportation services from Kathmandu to Delhi, Varanasi, Patna, Bodh Gaya, and Janakpur in Nepal, maintaining an uninterrupted and continuous service even during challenging times.

Future Plans:
With a focus on passenger convenience, considering time and circumstances, the organization has procured buses of a higher standard than the ones currently in operation. These buses have been included in the expansion plan of the company to further enhance the level of service provided.
