Since around 2058 B.S. (2001-2002 AD), various travel agencies in Nepal have been operating bus services to facilitate travelers from Nepal to Delhi, India via different travel routes. During that time, the Manjushree Service Committee and other travel agencies from Nepal’s Kathmandu to India’s Delhi were involved in facilitating travelers. However, it was decided to establish a separate committee, the Manjushree Service Committee, to operate and manage all the buses with the goal of making the travel easier for passengers. At that time, all the buses were non-A/C. Over time, with increasing demand and consideration for passenger comfort, deluxe buses were introduced. A few years later, understanding the aspirations of all entrepreneurs and transforming them, we became committed to establishing a company. We will evaluate the minimum value of each entrepreneur’s bus and establish them as shareholders.
In 2014, in accordance with the agreement between the governments of Nepal and India, we successfully started the Kathmandu-Delhi, Kathmandu-Varanasi, Kathmandu-Bodhgaya, and Janakpur-Bodhgaya direct Nepal-India Friendship Bus services. Until today, we have been operating 1618 buses with the facility provided by Tata Motors. All our buses are running Tata Motors’ Marcopolo buses. We are preparing to launch Marcopolo buses with the same facilities this month. Along with that, we have planned to provide additional services to travelers by including Ashok Leyland buses during this year’s Dashain festival.
Considering the convenience of travelers, we are still providing services according to the schedule and we are committed to providing better service to travelers, keeping their immense love and expectations in mind.
